This two-part event series emphasized the harmony between nature and our contemporary world. We sought to create both an intimate and large-scale event introducing a combination of the natural and modern. Our inspiration stems from humans’ intrinsic desire and connection to the natural environment as it plays a pivotal role in our health, productivity and survival. The notion of technological practices as an extension rather than an adversary of our evolution encouraged us to interpret the harmonious intersection between the natural world, humans, and urban contemporary life.
Part I. Listening Experience with Mixology
Part II. Urban Eden [Art Market and Showcase]
Give a Flower to a Stranger
How do we get strangers to interact with each other? Even if it’s a momentary interaction? When we highlight the need to connect with nature, we are not solely referring to the ecological world but also the nature of humans. From evolution to institutionalism, our drive for connection persists even amidst technological dependency.
Sitting on our centerpiece installation with flowers sourced by Khôi boi and built by the KIVE team, individual flower stems were used as tool to encourage strangers to spark a conversation.
